Hanzo returns — a Japanese Rice Lager brewed with a touch more power than the original, but still as clean, subtle, and deadly as its namesake. We infused it with jasmine green tea for a floral lift that lingers like a well-placed line from the master himself. Crisp, graceful, and endlessly drinkable — the kind of lager you sip slowly... then realize you’re four deep. You won’t find a finer lager north of Okinawa.

The can label

This is truly one of our finest labels. Inspired by Hattori Hanzo, the legendary swordsmith from Kill Bill, this beer doesn’t shout. It whispers..⁠⁠

the very first

Hanzo

The tricky part in designing Hanzo was weaving the two concepts together. As John our designer said: "For Hanzo the more I tried to stay very close to a vintage Japanese beer can, the less it felt like a Kill Bill concept. The more I tried to make it feel like Kill Bill, the less it felt like a vintage Japanese beer can." Here's the very first pass at this label (sorry Uma!). This also started out as a 12oz. label.
