The Royal Rug
Our brewing system allows us to do decoction brewing, which is rare these days. We're able to move our grain from kettle to mash tun and back, boiling ⅓ of the grain to capture additional flavor, color and aroma. It’s a time-consuming process but well worth it as this spectacular beer accentuates a toastiness that wouldn't be found without it. The Mittelfrüh & Tradition hops provide floral notes with a soft bitterness in this extremely delicate Pilsner.
The can label
Sometimes colors just don't translate from the screen to the printed piece. We played around with the Royal Rug colors a lot in the beginning, and we are still tweaking them to this day. But we always knew this special label would be more colorful than our other shadow cans, and that the background would not be black.
Outstanding. Better than one of my favorite German Beers.Beer Broadcast
Crisp and clean. Light but not watery. Fairly dry on the finish. Really nice stuff, and especially at under 5% this is definitely the kind of thing I need more of in my beer fridge.RateBeer.com

You keep dropping these and I keep buying them for the home refrigerator!!! However, they’re only in there for a day or two. Then, disappear!!! What happened?? Fridge got hole in it I guess.Beer Broadcast
Great in cans and even better when slow-poured out of the tap!!!Beer Broadcast
